We are a 20+ employee Oslo-based SaaS start-up founded by former top consultants, and we are now looking for our next Marketing Manager to help us scale. We are a growing team with more than 10 nationalities, we are a diverse and fun bunch of people! Our story

Grunt is a fast-growing Oslo-based technology company established in 2015 by co-founders with solid consulting, finance, and technology expertise. Our mission? To help professionals create efficient, automated, and beautiful presentations in PowerPoint.

Mads, our CEO, a former consultant at BCG, and Alexander, our CFO, a former Partner at the investment bank ABG Sundal Collier, worked daily with Excel and PowerPoint, and found that they were wasting copious amounts of time copy-pasting data from their spreadsheets into PowerPoint and re-creating templates instead of focusing on the story in their presentation. They knew there was a better way! As luck would have it, both Mads and Alexander are computer engineers and they decided to solve the problem. In 2021 we launched our sales team and we are now looking for our next Sales Development Representatives to help us scale our business.

The role:

As our Marketing Manager, you'll be the architect of our marketing strategy, aligning it seamlessly with our sales-led approach to fuel our expansion. Your mission will be to elevate Grunt's market presence, engage our target audience, work closely with our sales team and help us drive meaningful growth.  



Your Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that complements our sales efforts and accelerates growth.
Be hands-on in implementing marketing initiatives, from ABM and digital campaigns to content creation, lead generation and beyond.
Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for brand expansion.
Foster a data-driven approach, measuring and optimizing marketing performance to ensure ROI.
Collaborate closely with the sales team to ensure a unified approach to market penetration and customer acquisition.

Who you are:

A strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality, ready to dive deep into execution.

Skilled in B2B marketing, particularly in the SaaS or tech industry, with a proven track record of driving growth. A few years of experience from similar or relevant role will be an advantage.
Experience with enterprise companies as the ICP and a good understanding of how to engage decision-makers at different levels (from C-level to Analyst).
A creative problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced, start-up environments and is comfortable being the underdog.
Excellent communicator and team player with a passion for mentoring and building high-performing teams.
