We substantially improved the Export function. You can now export the current slide, selected slides, the entire presentation or a custom range of slides. You can also select which formats to export to, e.g. PowerPoint with Grunt objects, PowerPoint with converted Grunt objects and PDF. You can choose many as you like at the same time.
To match Export, we added a Send function. It works the same way but instead of saving to disk the exported files get dropped into an email that you can send!
We created a library of templates for you to use. It’s a great way to get yourself off the ground if you a rough idea of where you want to go. Just press the Template button to insert one!
Sending feedback has also been improved with a screenshot editor so that you can edit the attached image to bug reports you send. You can crop the image, blur it, and highlight areas and points of interest.
“Inherit” was renamed to “Default” throughout Grunt. It works the same as before, but in many cases, “Default” better conveys what’s going on.
We fixed a severe bug that in very rare cases would convert Grunts to images when saving PowerPoint files. This could happen if you managed to get some strange characters into your data. We dealt with it and it should no longer occur. We'll also continue to improve our recovery processes to ensure that your files are safe.
Fixed a bug where value source wasn’t working after toggling away from Auto.
